About The Buffalo Farm
The Buffalo Farm has Scotland’s largest herd of Water Buffalo and the buffalo roam the hills at Clentrie farm Auchtertool. The Buffalo Farm was Established in 2005, with the objective of producing superior quality meat to market directly to the consumer and other businesses.
The Buffalo Farm has developed into a full butchery business which includes a retail wholesale outlet, traditional butchery counters, a catering supply, an onsite café and an online website.
The Buffalo Farm came to us directly with the hope to increase online sales, customer loyalty, conversion rate, and average order value through ecommerce personalisation. They were looking for a tool that allowed them to promote product awareness and create more seamless user experiences for individual shoppers. The Buffalo Farm already understood the importance of personalisation, in order to improve their customer journey’s, so were keen to try a range of our features.
Results since using PureClarity
Since implementing PureClarity they have seen:

- 27.7% of all orders involve PureClarity
- 16.7% increase in average order value
- 28.9% increase in average order value involving AI product recommendations
How this has been achieved
A range of pop-ups have been used across The Buffalo Farm’s site to increase average order value (AOV), customer loyalty, online revenue and product awareness. Pop-ups are a great way to drive conversions and increase customer loyalty. We suggested that The Buffalo Farm implement our pop-ups on their website (specifically on their homepage, basket page and product pages).
Two of the main challenges that The Buffalo Farm had when they first came to us was growing their customer base through email sign ups and increasing product awareness. After just a few months of using our pop-ups they have seen a 647% increase in newsletter subscribers and are now seeing increased traffic and purchases of their Buffalo Mozzarella.

As The Buffalo Farm has a large product range it made sense to include AI driven product recommenders on the three main pages; the homepage, product pages, and the basket page, to promote product awareness and for effective upselling and cross-selling. Our AI product recommenders have increased their AOV by 28.9%.
