New Business Sales Executive

PureClarity is an award-winning specialist providing a software plugin for small to medium eCommerce sites such as Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce and similar, that can be downloaded from eCommerce platforms, that gives an offering to consumer and business shoppers, that personalises the shopping experience for the individual user, by providing recommendations for products and basket additions, and messaging, during and after the shopping experience, based on their location, their browsing, search and basket activity and on the behaviour of other shoppers.  It increases basket value, expands breadth of product purchase, increases conversion rates at every stage of the shopping journey, captures data about the shoppers and encourages repeat purchase.

After recent investment, we’re now looking for a new business sales executive to specifically attract net new clients coming from new solution partners; these solution partners are mainly digital and ecommerce agencies who pride themselves on adding value to their clients. 

The ideal person is vibrant, a great questioner, an active listener, enthusiastic, keen – and quick – to learn, has a sunny disposition, is quick witted, articulate and curious.  We need good attention to detail, self-motivation and a team player who’s happy to work on their own with frequent and regular check-ins.  From a skills point of view, education is less important than a few years’ experience, ideally gained from within a digital / eCommerce agency, and having sold SaaS or tech to eCommerce agencies or sites.  The ideal person needs to understand the problems of the audience and the benefits we deliver and communicate these to drive new, mutually beneficial relationships.

We provide collateral and tools to enable you to go to market, we provide support and encouragement; you provide the energy, the know-how and the results, so that we can all grow.  We have recently enjoyed some great successes in product, client and investment, and have fantastic ambition.  We are based in York, and all working from home for the foreseeable future, and have a product that really delivers results and a hugely enthusiastic and effective team. 

Whilst we do enjoy working with agencies, on this occasion we’re saying no to agencies. Initial interviews will be by conducted by phone, and the recruitment process will predominantly be conducted remotely.
