Engage and Personalise · Checkout Upsell
One more item, just before they pay.
As shoppers head to checkout, a popup offers up to three products that go with their basket. They set the quantity and add to the basket without leaving it, and a progress bar shows how close they are to free delivery. There are no rules to set up.
What it offers
The right three products, chosen for you.
| In order | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Your pins first | Up to ten products you choose, in your order, for a launch or a high-margin add-on. |
| Then what goes with the basket | Products related to what is in the basket and what shoppers bought with it, then best sellers to fill any space. |
| Never a wasted slot | Nothing already in the basket, nothing out of stock and nothing you have excluded from recommendations is ever shown. |
What you control
Free delivery does the selling
Show how much more the basket needs for free delivery, updating as items go in, and put the products that get it there first, cheapest first.
Shown when it helps
Once a session, at most once in a period you set, or every time. Limit it to baskets in a value range so it never gets in the way of a big order.
In your words and colours
Write the headline and description, set the text and button colours, and reword or translate every button and message. A live preview updates as you type.
Where it works
BigCommerce and Shopify.
On BigCommerce it appears on the Optimized One-Page Checkout. Shopify doesn’t allow scripts on its checkout, so there it opens when a shopper clicks a checkout button in the cart page or cart drawer.
Products that need options chosen, such as a size, link to their product page. Prices follow the shopper’s currency, and customer-group pricing on BigCommerce.
The last 28 days of impressions, add-to-basket clicks, click rate and the revenue it brought in sit on the same page as the settings.
